Small Business Server Fax services have been optimized and tested for up to 75 users. Fax Service is not available on a stand-alone basis and will not be incorporated into other Microsoft products. As with all Small Business Server products, it must be run on a single machine. The following should be considered when planning for Fax service:

• Fax Service allows network users to send and receive fax documents with any fax device capable of handling Group 3 fax calls.
• Network clients do not need a separate fax modem attached to their desktop, thereby reducing small business hardware costs and phone line usage.

When a Small Business Server client setup disk is created for Windows 95/98 or NT Workstation client computers, Microsoft Fax client software can be conveniently included on the disk using the Set up Computer Wizard.
